Einsatzgruppen

    These were the mobile killing squads which mainly operated in the parts of the Soviet Union occupied by the Germans.

    I agree. Camps and ghettos are not enough to tell the whole story. But, it's a new forum, isn't it?

    the story of the Einsatzgruppen represents the Nazis in their truest evil to me, the gas chambers came along to make the process more "humane" for the "soldiers" but the killing squads that roamed Russia were truely most evil, Babi Yar for example represents such horror and to see those poor people running around a corner to face their executioners, beyond comprehension .
