Very doubtful, I know, but I wonder if there was anything left of the WW1 defences at Bray Dunes (and the "stop line" to the east) in 1940 and whether they were re-utilised in 1940? If so, I wonder if anything remains today...it's something I've never looked for. Dave.
Dave, have spent a lot of time in this area of late and there are a lot of bunkers. It is hard to know whether they are WW1, 1930s or German from 1944 in some cases. The level of building here has also wiped out a lot of open ground.
