thanks, appreciate it, I'm the Sgt at the start of the 2nd clip and at the rear in the black and white clip so you can recognise who to avoid !!
Those two civvies standing on the corner as you wheeled into the Fort des Dunes didn't know that it was possible to march that smartly either (but then they're French of course so they've probably never seen anything like it !)
only of the wife marching over me in jackboots, but enough of that !! I think there are some elsewhere I shall find the link in the next day or two
Cheers Rich. Anyone know No's 5 and 6? Firstly sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I noticed that no-one had answered your question above Andy. As I continue to delve further into the forum I keep finding threads like this one which are right down my street. Anyway moving onto your question picture number five is a Bedford MW, however it's a later version as those in 1940 would have been more than likely fitted with Aeroscreen's like the one in the attached picture. Also would have perhaps had canvas doors instead of solid ones. Picture number six is a Fordson W.O.T.2A-H, quite a rare vehicle with not many left, maybe only 6-10 left in the UK. Again the one pictured is a later War vehicle I'd say as like the Bedford those in 1940 would more than likely have been fitted with Aeroscreen's. Hope that can be of help and sorry for bringing up an old thread again! Scott PS - Great video's Jon.

Scott, It is good that people search through the forum and find something posted a while ago, but can answer a question raised or provide fresh imput. Over the last few years the membership has really flourished and so there are many more opportunities for older threads to be reserected and new information posted that was not available at the time. Regards Tom
