I am researching Driver Albert Edward Salisbury 2383894 Royal Corps of Signals 8th Army Sigs.
The information I have so far is...
    DOD 30/11/45 Age 35
Son of Edmund & Maria Salisbury and husband of Elizabeth Salisbury of Stoke Newington. He is buried in Abney Park cemetery in a common grave with no headstone plot ref 61788 plot N9, we could not find the location even with the help of the excellent staff of AP cemetery. He is commemorated on the war memorial in AP we left a remembrance cross. He was buried 06/12/45 and last known address is listed as Emergency Hospital Linchfield although he (or his family) lived in the vicinity of Hindle House, Arcola Street as he is also commemorated on the HH war memorial that I am researching.
I would appreciate if anyone could give me further details on Albert, what he did as a driver, what he did before joining the army, how he lost his life, photos and contact with family.
    Thanks Natalie

Here's the diary but with him being buried in the UK the diary may not hold any relevant information for you. That said you never know until you look.

WO 170/4206 8 Army and British Troops in Austria: Signals 1945 Jan.- Dec.

    Cheers
