This June I visited the Millom Air Museum [Now being wound up , sadly] and in amongst the Exhibits was a few photographs of 'Doom Town ' a purpose built town supposedly 'post nuclear' with broken and bebris strewn buildings built on the runway , a lot of Military units had to go on this course in the 50's and 60's to back up the Civil Defense after a nuclear exchange , has anyone on the forum any memories or photographs of this site ?.
