Does anybody have any good images of Juno Beach D-Day.

    Deacs Well i am from Cumbria.

    Hi Keith some great pictures there especially number 2. Have just asked Adam and he thinks it might be an Mk IV Churchill AVRE.
    If only it was and the one granda was drving.

    On another note of finding pictures, yesterday i found a picture of my Great Uncle Lesley who died shortly after coming home from the war on Facebook will have to get intouch with the guy who has it and get a copy.

    Found this little site while searching for anything on Juno and thought it was quite good
    it gives you a 360 angle of the beach and a couple of nice little films (pity the tanks are not the real deal)

    Michael,
    While it does not cover the RE landing on Juno Beach, you may want to google the video showing the North Shore Regiment ( Canadian ) landing on Juno beach. It is the only video from the entire Normandy invasion on June 6th, 1944 that made its way back to London.
