You might have a look at this page:
CWGC :: Cemetery Details for Dinant Citadelle Cemetery
The first one of the A's at that cemetery has a guy from 77 Sqn which was a Hallibag Sqn...
If it is that one then you might also like to look at:
    WARNING {Strange its picked up the first part of the message warning you to open it up only in MS not in Safari!}

Thanks for the tips and links guys. From memory (and it ain't what it used to be) there was a bronze replica of the plane on a plinth with the names of the crew inscribed below. Again, allowing for Old-Timer's Disease, the average age of the crew was 20 years.

I came across this in Worcestershire while looking for the graves of a couple of local lads. Not WW2 but I've not come across one before.

Also another 5 American soldiers in Sai Wan War Cemetery in Chai Wan of Eastern district, Hong Kong.

I think ABMC & CWGC should record them to let the public know.

At the same times, I found another one at Sai Wan War Cemetery in Chai Wan of Eastern district, Hong Kong:

Otherwise, I found another CWGC style headstone for former Soviet (now Russia, etc) soldiers:

Two unusual ones I came across last weekend, hillwalking in Eskdalemuir.

    Haven't seen many women remembered.

    All the best

Jesus, this ship was torpedoed off Port Said on 19th July 1942 and beached, yes that is PORT SAID, EGYPT, she was refloated in January 1943 and became a training ship at Kabret. early in 1944. In November 1945 she was towed to the Tyne in the UK and laid up to be broken up there in April 1948.

About which time some poor sod must have had a bit of a shock discovering these 2 lads on board

I saw this memorial plaque recently and was very touched by the families inscription. I shed a tear if I'm really honest.

    Hello Jon

If you have proof of death in service or other information that you can supply CWGC.
The casualty would be non war military death and the headstone maintained by CWGC.
Is the date of death 14/9/39?

    regards
    Clive

I am interested to see the photo's attached to this post as these are my grandfather and aunt, but whenever I click the attachment it causes an error. Can you please assist me in obtaining a copy? Many thanks Michelle Saunders
