Dear all, Some months ago we found also nice objects in Arnhem. Close to the FrostBridge in a builings cellar we found 3 helmets. One a Dutch one, one a German one, and a British parachute helmet. Inside this last helmet is the owner name and i found after some weeks his family. all 3 helmets are full intact and were there for almost 70 years. amazing found. I will try to make a article about them but i still wondering how 3 different nations helmets were there. As for the German and British i can imagne being wounded soldiers...but the Dutch one is a riddle to me.... all you input is welcome!

Seeing the avatar of TomTas and mention of google earth. Got me thinking back 50 years or more. Weekends I would caddy at the Royal Winchester golf course. In a garden overlooking the course - a weather vane - Pegasus: Still there!
Went out yesterday, the weather was nice so were the founds. Philip Photo is a bit smal so difficult to make out the specific parts but look as though they're bits from an aircraft/glider. Where did you unearth them? John
Nice finds Philip. I notice that Vandamme still hasn't posted anymore about the helmets that were found. Strange.................
