    Eire Branch
    It is with great regret that we have to add the announcement of the death of Captain G.N.R. WHITFIELD, MC (late IRISH GUARDS) who is reported elsewhere in the Journal as being in KOREA with his Regiment. He died suddenly in DUBLIN on 4th November, 1951, after an operation while on leave from KOREA.

    FLEMING - On September 27th, 1957, at WESTON, FLUSHING, Colonel C.F. FLEMING, Deputy Lieutenant for the County of CORNWALL, late R.I.C. and IRISH GUARDS, aged 82, beloved husband of Bridget and father of Jenifer OSMOND.

    DROGHEDA - On November 22nd, 1957, at Leigh Hill House, COBHAM, SURREY, The Earl of DROGHEDA, KCMG, late IRISH GUARDS, aged 73.

    GORDON - On November 26th, 1957, at Threave, Castle Douglas, KIRKCUDBRIGHTSHIRE, SCOTLAND, Major AFL GORDON, DSO, MC, late IRISH GUARDS, aged 65.
