I usually get annoyed by things Facebook thinks I ought to see but tonight I was very impressed by this painting.

The arch in the background is the Siegestor.

The wounded soldier has an edelweiss on his arm making him a Gebirgsjäger.

I've had a look at his other work. Never heard of him before tonight.
Worth a look .

 

As I thought may happen Owen. Searching "Adolph Reich" just on the museum website calls up a host of stuff not related to Adolph Reich the artist (unless of course it's a pseudonym of the one ball merchant).

I thought it was a parody name but it's real.
Have a google of " adolf reich kunst".

He did quite a few paintings in WW1 such as
