This post is dedicated to all those 19 men who served with the UK, Dutch, Greek and Norwegian Merchant Navies, during the course of WW2, and who found their final resting place in Israel. note: 10 images attached.

Seaman Mow, A H, left ss ENSIS at Haifa on 7.9.1943 suffering from Tuberculosis. He died on 13.9.1943. Because his death was illness related he is not commemorated by the CWGC. Lest we forget.

Captain Erling Nielsen was the master of the Norwegian ss HERO torpedoed and sunk by U-375 (Könenkamp).
