CWGC Groesbeek Memorial

    Having trouble finding an entry about a name on the above memorial. The name is Cpl E A Hunt Reconnaissance Corps. I heve searched both Geoffs site anc CWGC but no luck. Any help appreciated.

    Mitch, I suspect that this is your man. CWGC have him listed as being buried at Reichswald Forrest.

    Is it possible his body was found at a later date, but has not been removed from the memorial ?

    I too found that man, as other 15 Recce men are remembered on the memorial that idea is feasible.

    Hi Paul,
    One IG is on Dunkirk memorial but listed under cwgc as buried in a cemetery. I would agree with Phil, that this man's body was probably found after his name was inscribed on memorial.

    If only they would put service numbers on memorials.

    They still years behind with that for Example War Correspondent Anthony Cotterel name is also still on the wall.
