Hi, I've requested a record copying service at the National Archives of Kew it cost me 8,40£. My question was but for the digital copies the National Archives they apply a cost? If yes how much? In the future, you would recommend ordering the records from the National Archives?
    Thank you.

For less than 100 different pages of records, UK National Archives will charge you
    £8.40 for a page check
    plus
£1.35 per page, paper up to A3, B+W
    or
£1.20 per page, digital up to A3
    Total, minimum: single page: £9.60
    Fees schedule: https://cdn.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documents/record-copying-prices-february-2019.pdf

If I need docs imaged, rather than UK Archives I prefer to use Lee Richards of @RCRE
a digital service which I have found over a number of years to be helpful, prompt, excellent quality and far cheaper.

    Hi,

Lee informed me that he is running behind with supplying copies due to a recent illness.

With more than 40 years of marriage I have been trained to wait ...

    Best regards

    Luc,

It might be worth stating which file(s) you are looking for - if you are lucky someone here might already have what you are looking for. It can’t hurt to ask.

    Regards

    Tom
