Cornish army units in WW2 - reading reccomendations?

    Hi all,

It just occurred to me - better late than in never - that when I am in the UK in June I expect I'll be able to visit Cornwall's Regimental Museum in Bodmin, but I don't actually know the history of any army units from Cornwall during WW2.

The information in wikipedia is a bit scanty, mentioning 2nd Battalion DCLI as part of the BEF, and 5th Battalion having been in Normandy. 1st is referenced as having gone overseas, but nothing else.

Any suggestions for books about Cornish units? Or for a history of the 43rd Div, given that 5 DCLI was a part of it?

The regimental history is available as a first edition and a hardback reprint:
The [History of the] Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry 1939-1945 by Godfrey

    Two options for 43 Div:
The 43rd Wessex Division at War 1944-1945 by Essame
    or
The Fighting Wessex Wyverns by Delaforce

    Thank you, Idler!

The public library has a reference copy of Essame... I would just need to find a cozy spot to read. But maybe I'll look to buy a copy of the DCLI book.

edit: one of the copies for sale is in a bookstore in Looe, near where I will be staying. Maybe I will see if they can put it aside for me if I make a deposit. :)
