Hi all, have just found out my grandad (a career sailor since joining as a boy in 1927) was a bit naughty post-war and was dismissed from the service by court martial (he was somewhat creative in his accounting of the fags and booze on his ship it seems!). Anyway, I'm wondering what were the consequences of such a sentence? I'm assuming loss of pension at the very least. Michael
