    Hi all,

As you might know I'm the press officer for the Coleshill Auxiliary Research Team (CART - www.staybehinds.com), the organisation founded to research the British Resistance force (Auxiliary Units) set up in 1940.

We have had a fantastic year with many new discoveries of veterans, patrols, operational bases (still hidden beneath the British countryside) and increasing information on the Special Duties Branch (although this remains a group about which we are relatively in the dark). Veterans and relatives from the Auxiliary Units and SD Branch also the first time marched past the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday this year, which was a significant achievement for us.

We are a group made up of researchers across the UK and other volunteers fulfilling various roles, but we are in need of more helpers in order for us to really push forward in 2014 and gathering more information about these groups of remarkable volunteers that were prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice during the darkest days of WWII.

There are a number of roles we desperately need filling, most urgently that of a newsletter editor, to ensure that we are in regular contact with members and followers. You can find out more information here: http://www.coleshillhouse.com/cart-research-structure.php

Hopefully being involved in CART in some form might appeal to one or two of you - please do let me know if you need more information.

Mods let me know if this is posted on the wrong forum.

    Andy
