A couple in British Columbia have found family mementos of Pte. Lawrence Thomas McKee, 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion.

McKee was with Royal Canadian Artillery before he volunteered for 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion, born 15th May 1920, he qualified as a paratrooper at Shilo Camp 23rd Oct 1943, was with C Company 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion when he jumped on D-Day then was in the Ardennes and Holland 1944/45 and later wounded on Operation Varsity 24th March 1945. Died 1st June 1976.

The couple are hoping to reunite surviving family members with the mementos.
