Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and would like to trouble the forum community to obtain some information on the following unit sign that was found in the Goch/Reichswald area. My guess is a belgian army in exile unit attached to the Pioneer Corps, perhaps repatriating looted belgian property in the Goch area. Unit is said to be wallon (belgian-french speaking) and stationed in the area in 1946-47. Sign is a painted over Canadian unit sign, as can be seen by the outline of a previously applied paint layer. Trying to attach a jpeg, please be patient if it doesn't appear.
