I would be grateful for information about first hand accounts of the Somaliland Camel Corps and the Illalos (irregulars) during the Italian invasion of British Somaliland in August 1940. I have general sources, but I'm hoping to find some more detailed first hand accounts.
There are a few files at TNA Kew dealing with the Camel Corps in Somaliland as well as atached officers and NCOs mainly Rhodesians
