British Soldier , Moscow VE Day 1945.

    Looking through a book called THE WAR In Pictures Sixth Year. Published Odhams 1946.
    Saw this on page 230.
    Captioned
    A British soldier being tossed by the crowds in Moscow.

    I know it's a long shot but I wonder if anyone knows who he is ?
    Never know some relative maybe looking for him.
    I take it he'd be working at the British Embassy ?
    Anyone know anymore about British Servicemen serving in Moscow , May 1945 ?
    That looks like Servive Dress too doesn't it rather than Battle Dress, I wonder what the Collar Dogs are?
