British paratroopers murdered by the SS.

Joe Fennah in the People news paper, September 11th 1988 edition.
Might have claimed that british paratroopers were murdered and there bodies were used for propaganda purposes next to the 6 mile marker in Oosterbeek.
My great uncle Sgt.F.H.Chesson was one of them.
Any help would be much appreciated as I haven't a clue

This incident was investigated by Major Geoff Norton, curator of the Parachute Regiment Museum, Browning Barracks, Aldershot in 1988 and he found that the allegations made by Fennah were without foundation. Indeed a supposed witness to the incident was from 1st Parachute Battalion who was apparently fighting near the pontoon bridge in Arnhem at the time.
