I work remotely. I was thinking we might have a job you try to get, but my office doesn't do anything close to your professional background. I suspect you don't have a security clearance either.
Why not write a book? I’ve had so many people write to me recently mentioning a multi-million $ inheritance from a recently deceased distant relative I didn’t know I had, from places like Nigeria, Singapore, USA. There are also immediate deadlines that we have to beat, to stop my inheritance going into the government’s coffers instead of to me. It would be really great to have that money in my own bank account ASAP and I know that it’s so very unfriendly of me (and to my own family members to boot) not to reply, but despite the thought of being a multi-millionaire, being able to retire and sail slowly around the Med in my yacht, sipping champagne and eating lobster prepared by my 18 year old female Thai personal chef and masseuse for ‘elevenses’, I don’t really want them coming over to my place for a staycation. Oh, well… money isn’t everything…
Well, actually I have written a book, plus large parts of several others. Only one of them is history, the rest being trashy noir fiction set in the 1950s. Guns, gangsters, grifters, gals, and like that. If anybody here knows any agents or publishers interested in such magoozlum please let me know.
