Geoff, Thank you for the link. I clicked on the link and also on the Navigation link "Head of british Intelligence on Atrocity tales and Gas Chambers" and I was most disappointed at what I read. It is no wonder we have "Revisionists" when this type of article is printed, even though the author probably believed it to be true at the time. Regards Tom
The website linked in the OP in turn links to one laughably called 'Committee for Open Debate on the Holocaust.' Laughably because it is a denier site. The original website's aim appears to be to use Bletchley Park decodes of the number of registered prisoners in Auschwitz to deny that mass gassings took place there. This claim is nonsense as many Jews were sent straight to the gas chambers on arrival at the camp, never being registered as inmates. The figures quoted still show substantial number of deaths amongst the registered prisoners. The website tries to make a big deal of the larger number of Catholics than Jews amongst these, but the huge number of Jews murdered on arrival are not included in the figures given. A senior British intelligence official didn't believe that the Germans were gassing people in 1943. So what? Plenty of intelligence officials got things wrong before, during and after WWII. Using this documents to claim that the Holocaust didn't happen is preposterous even by the preposterous standards of Holocaust deniers. I don't like calling Holocaust deniers revisionists. All historical analysis involves revision and reinterpretations. These individuals don't do that. They tell lies and deny proven truths.
A link to that website was posted on the sister forum ww2f. The poster was told to fuck off. By you, you silver-tongued devil you . Still quite the knack for direct nail/head interactions... Obfuscating link (backlinks to such sites tend to attract nutters), Google it if you like, suspect you'll be disappointed. I was a week ago, and remain so now.
