Saturday 26/5 sees the IWM hold the 4th University College London/IWM Conference on Materialities & Cultural memory of 20th Century Conflict, entitled Conflict Landscapes; Materiality & Meaning in Contested Places 1900-2007. It will run from 9am to 5pm, and topics covered include WW1 landscapes, Gallipoli, WW2 landscapes in Britian, the IoM internment camps, murals at RAF Coltishall and street murals in Ulster.
