Nederlanders in de Waffen-SS the Red Army tried to push the Germans back in order to end the siege of Leningrad. The Brigade 'Nederland' got deployed in this area.

Fair point, Owen. But, doesn't that about equally apply to the various Einsatzgruppen? Though, I don't suppose dressing up as a middle aged, provincial Policeman has the same 'sex appeal'.
