    Son of Frank George and Georgiana Andreae, of Paddington, London.

    F/O C.J.D.Andreae of No 64 Squadron was shot down and killed in his Spitfire I (R6990) on the 15th of August 1940 by a Bf 109 at 15:20hrs.

    P/O C.J.Arthur of No 248 Squadron was killed along with his crew (Sgt E.A.Ringwood & Sgt R.C.R.Cox ) on the 27th of August 1940 around mid-day. They were on a recce in a Blenheim off the Norwegian coast.

    P/O D.G.Ashton was with No 266 Squadron from the start of the Battle of Britain. Ashton was shot down in his Spitfire I (P9333) off Portsmouth on the 12th of August 1940, and reported M.I.A., aged 20. His body was found by a minesweeper a month later and it was buried at sea.

    Son of Gerald Debnam Baker and Edith Anne Baker, of Wimborne, Dorsetshire; husband of Evelyn Baker.

    Sgt E.D.Baker of No 145 Squadron was on patrol in his Hurricane I (P2957) on the 8th of August 1940. He was believed to have been shot down by F.W. Müller of I Gruppe of JG 27 off the Isle of White at 09:15hrs. Sgt E.D.Baker was posted M.I.A., aged 28.

    P/O W.Beaumont of No 152 Squadron baled out of his Sptitfire I (R6831) after being hit by a Junkers Ju 88 off Portland on the 27th of August 1940 at 12:30hrs. He was not hurt.
    W.Beaumont was lost over the Channel on the 23rd of September 1940 in a Spitfire I (R7016), cause unknown.

    P/O C.C.Bennet was an Austrailian flying with No 248 Squadron in Blenheim's during the Battle of Britain. He and his crew (G.S.Clarke & G.B.Brash) were killed in action on the 1st of October 1940. They failed to return from a Recce/Sortie off the Norwegian coast flying in Blenheim IVf (R3626).

    Sgt A.Berry of No 264 Squadron and his pilot, I.G.Shaw were killed on the 24th of August 1940 at 12:40hrs. Their Defiant (L7027) was shot down by Bf 109's of JG 3 off Manston.

    Flt/Lt C.E.Bowen of No 607 Squadron baled out of his Hurricane I (P5205) safely on the 26th of September 1940 over Kaylthorpe, Isle Of Wight at 16:20hrs. C.E.Bowen was K.I.A. on the 1st of October 1940. His Hurricane I (V6686) was shot down by a Bf 110 over the Isle of Wight at 10:50hrs.

    P/O D.O.M.Browne of No 1 Squadron was on patrol on the 19th of July 1940 in a Hurricane I (P3471) when his aircraft was set on fire in an attack on a He 111. He crash landed at 18:15hrs but was unhurt.
    While on patrol in his Hurricane (R4075) on the 15th of August 1940, Browne was shot down near Harwich at 15:00hr

    P/O Maurice S.H.C.Buchin a Belgian was posted to No 213 Squadron on the 25th of July 1940. Maurice Buchin and P.J.Philipart were on patrol over Portland on the 11th of August 1940 and each of them shot down a Junkers Ju 88. Maurice Buchin was the first Belgian to be killed in the Battle of Britain when his Hurricane I (V7227) was shot down over Portland on the 15th of August 1940 at 17:45hrs.

On the 20th of October 1940 he was on a recce sortie off the Norwegian coast flying in Blenheim IVf (P6952) when he was shot down and killed. Also in the crew was G.H.Baird, D.L.Burton and S.V.Wood.
