Nick, read thru your blog and it is excellent. Then did some more research, and found a document that is the history of German forces on the Channel Islands written by their Commander (Major General Rudolf Graf von Schmettow). It’s a translation from the original German, written in 1948. You may already have this information, but thought I would let you know so I can share it with you, if you didn’t have this. If you do wish a copy, please PM me on this site, and I’ll send you a Dropbox link to the file.
