    Hello all Airborne experts!

Can anyone furnish me with the first name of 'B. R. Woodwood' who served with the 5th (Scottish) Battalion, the Parachute Regiment, in Italy? I know he survived the war but that's all I have I'm afraid - I'm hoping one of you has a database and may be able to assist.

    Thanks in advance,

    Can't find him on Paradata
Are you sure it is spelt correctly? Woodwood or Woodward?

I talk to a Veteran who lives around the corner who was in 5th Scottish Para. If no-one comes up with the answer I'll call round tomorrow and ask if he knew him

Lesley, you're right - looking at the handwriting again it is B. R. WOODWARD not Woodwood. I can't find anything via the normal searches so if no one replies with an answer I'd be very grateful if you could ask your friend.

All the best and thanks for getting back to me,

    Hi Skip

Talked to the Veteran, Arthur, who was in the Regiment. Unfortunately he cannot remember him, it was a bit of a long shot considering there were 1001 men in the Regiment as he recalls.
If you know his Company, he would probably have a better idea.
