During the period under review, 1st September 1944 – 31st December 1944, this officer’s work and devotion to duty has been outstanding.

He has organised Laundry Services and bathing facilities for 10 Corps Troops, and has ensured that baths and a more than adequate exchange of clean clothing have been available to units, both when operationally employed and at rest.

He has kept his installation functioning well beyond its scheduled capacity, often in difficult circumstances and dangerous conditions, by additional equipment improvised by himself.

By his boundless enthusiasm, forceful initiative and untiring zeal, the unit under his command has achieved results far beyond that expected or demanded of it.

His unfailing cheerfulness in the face of many difficulties has been an example to his men, and to all who came in contact with him.

His efforts have contributed in a large degree to the high standard of cleanliness and health which exists amongst 10 Corps Troops today.
