Hi Everyone I am a new member, since March 2010 My partner and I are flying from Australia to France and UK in early August, staying in Paris and driving to Bayeaux to stay in some chateaux's for a few days. I would like some help as to what villages, museums and battlefields to see around the Villers Bocage and Tilly sur Seulles area. I am interested in this area because of the 7th Arm and 50th inf attacks on the 10th to the 14th June 1944. I have read many books about the D Day attacks and having read about Michael Wittmans counterattack, it would be brilliant to be able to see the actual battlefields as to where it actually happened Being in Australia it is a bit difficult to just pop over the channel and have a look.
