Auschwitz to be renamed

Personally, I support the idea of making the names of camps like Auschwitz more precise.

 

All that is happening here is that name will be changed on the UN list of WHS to "Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi German Concentration and Death Camp"

In reality it will never be known as anything else but "Auschwitz"

I agree. The name's too set in peoples minds now.


A bit like when Opal fruits changed their name to Starburst.
I still call 'em Opal fruits.

I agree there is only one name for the camp

 

That's what I thought when I posted the story. It's like "Nice try but..."
