Been looking at this and wondering how it fits into the grand scheme of things, anyone got it, read it and willing to share an opinion?
In a similar vein I've recently been seeing one or two high recommendations for this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sand-Steel-New-History-D-Day/dp/1847948286 By the same author.- Peter Caddick-Adams e.g. "The most comprehensive and authoritative history of D-Day ever published ‘Extraordinary’ Andrew Roberts ‘Brilliant’ Jeremy Black ‘Magisterial’ James Holland" Though - with (This title will be released on May 30, 2019.) It seems possible - via google books - to preview some of the content i.e. : Sand and Steel
