    Here! Quite a number of beautiful Kodakchrome slides, US 1942, not necessarily WW2 related. If you browse the Galleries more gems are to be found, including this rather disturbing bit!

    Shorpy is a great site! It was one of the first I came across with decent high definition digital photos. I fell in love with it immediately. The comments, as well, are for the most part interesting. I just wish it was emulated elsewhere.

    I am on the bottom !!(sur le cul,in french).
    My only regret:30 dollars to ship a print to Europe.....
    Anyway,i will not have enough of a single life to explore this site,since you can zoom to the infinite in each pic.THAN YOU AGAIN!!!

    Looks to me like the swastika is wrong, it needs to be off horz/vert by 1/8 of a turn.
    The way it shows it's the sign for peace.

    Hmm, that may be too early to establish a connection with Nazi symbology, the photo is dated 1922, but I'm not an expert on the KKK (nor an expert on anything at all :D )
