Ammunition Point/Petrol Point/Supply Point drill

I'm currently brushing up my old work on RASC Company organisation in 1944-45, and with it trying to gain a better understanding of the supply system 'in advance of railhead'. I have learned a lot via the "Q" School syllabus I snagged from Fold3 years ago, and the Admin History of 21 Army Group on sign posted to from the Forum on Wayback. These are though quite high level and don't discuss the mechanics of operating Ammunition Points, Petrol Points or Supply Points.

The RASC did produce a lot of Pamphlets but I cannot see one that gives a drill/standard procedure for this work. The basics of ammunition drill are mentioned in a few wartime and postwar documents; ammunition to be automatically and systematically passed from rear to front, with APs operating on a 24 hour basis; unit 1st line transport to collect from such with a proviso that RASC 2nd line could take artillery ammunition forward when approved by "Q". PP and Sup P to open for set hours and supplies to be indented for.

There is a very short RASC pamphlet on the transport and distribution of ammunition by road, from late 1942, that is hard to find a copy of, and might have no reference to AP practice within it. The 1951 version is longer but is, well, from 1951...

Any feedback on where to find such info would be welcome.
