Albert Griffiths - The service records

    Hi again, I got the papers that Albert had kept (only his discharge paper which he probably needed for work) and was also sent the service record that the MOD had. It doesn’t seem to mention anything of his time as a POW but there is a gap in dates from December 1942 (where he is at Radio Pool?) to October 1943 where he is at BHQ Bombay. Then another skip from then until February 1944 where he is at “AHU Morcambe” and in June was discharged. I’d also like to know if anyone has any photos of the Air Gunnery School at Baroda in India, Albert was there from at least October 1942. Prior to that he was at 1st depot at Uxbridge and “Marthesham” and Wyton from 1939 until May 1942. Thanks, I’ll probably attach some pics of the records themselves later :)
