I'm probably not the first to identify the area but I have documented the location (attached). The version I came across was titled "b-24s-st-lo.jpg". True enough, but I don't know the date of the photo. It seems likely to be related to the COBRA bombing.
Sad to say I would have instantly recognised it. This is because it is just a kick in the arse away from'Barkmann's Corner at Marigny. I have spent many an hour arguing all the details along that road in order to bring some sense to the claim he knocked out 13 phantom shermans!
