Help please on understanding this. "Forfeits W.T.P.R." The only explanation I can find is this. " Wartime Trained Personnel Requirement " He had been in hospital prior to this date. Why would he have forfeited this ? Cheers, Maureen.
Hi Maureen, Could it be W.T.P.P. not R http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/28213-service-record-acronym-wtpp/page-3 http://ww2talk.com/forums/page/Databases/abbreviations.html It's harder for folks to work out abbreviations without the context or seeing the original... for instance, did he get leave after being discharged from hospital? In which case the above could apply.
HI, It could be W T P P as there is a dot after each letter and the last one seems to have changed the P to R. But why would he have had to forfeit this if it was a travel permit. Have tried to uplift my scan to here but no success unfortunately. Cheers Maureen.
Maureen If your scan is over 2mb then resize it, using whatever tool you are comfortable with, then re-submit. Good luck ! Ron
