    Squashed round thing from top deck front of a No. 3 Bus to Crystal Palace on Sunday, 1st June, proceeding south on Westminster Bridge. Normally the No.3, which stops at the Imperial War Museum, goes over Lambeth Bridge but that is now being made cycle friendly so only northbound traffic.

    Etna's going crazy right now IIRC. Smoke column 3 km. high from the summit, ~3400 m. The column can be seen from space.

    And we left it because Etna was after us. Hard after us.

    Tried without success to find information about the mock-up boat that was light enough for a Huey to sling load. Not sure about the weight of a completely gutted PBR, but a fully equipped Mk II was near the hook limit for a CH-54.
