Hi gents, sorry to but in on this thread, but I wonder if you can help me out, having just received a copy of my grand fathers service records I have noticed that for a period of time he served with the 9th reserve A.A (S/L) is that searchlight Royal Artillery from late August 1941 to Feb 1942, and if you have any idea where this. Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but can anyone help me find this Regiment as my grandfather was attached to it from his regiment the Devonshires. It also says on his service records (S/L Branch). He was only with it for 6 months between Aug 41 and Feb 42 and I would like to know where it was stationed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
