Hi Everyone, I'm new to this Forum, I noticed that some of you have uploaded files of families war diaries.
I believe my grandfather (in law) was at Belsen. But I'm unsure of what regiment he was in.
His Name was Fred Speight born 1911, Service Number 980089
Do anyone have anything, records, photographs, or even anything mentioned in a diary about him?

This is Fred's Royal Artillery attestation record from 1939.
He was initially posted to the 9th Field Regiment R.A. before transferring to the Tynemouth Heavy 12.6.1940
He transferred to the Royal Army Service Corps on 5.12.1943

    Good luck with your research

As your original post was related to the 113th LAA, RA and linked to Belsen. The RASC unit attached to the 113th was 1575 (Light).
