is anyone aware whether Corp of Engineers, 976th Engineering Maintenance Company visited a second concentration camp after 4/21/1945?

My grandfather, Herb Huberty, Tech 4 Lieutenant, 976th Engineering Maintenance Company, toured Buchenwald concentration camp with his company on 4/21/1945.

Recently we found more photos he took which, unbeknownst to us, he kept in his wallet for over 50 years. The photos are in rough shape, but are attached. The family previously donated similar pictures Huberty had taken to the National Holocaust Memorial Museum where a private collection of pictures and articles has been started.

After doing more research, particularly in reading a lengthy chronological correspondence housed at University of Michigan’s Clements Library, there appears some anecdotal evidence of the 976th visiting a second concentration camp, perhaps a sub-camp of Buchenwald and near Erlangdon where the 976th was housed at the Ferris Barricks.
