My Father in Law served in the RE 933Coy PC&R, I have his service record, he landed in France on 7/8 June 1944, but the next entry is of him getting married in 1945 !, I would like to know where his Coy were, I know he built bridges in Xanten Germany ,and he also mentioned Port Bessin but a little more detail would be helpful, perhaps in a war diary, can anyone guide me to the right place to look, many thanks.
