I realise this unit's been the subject of a few queries over the years, sadly the links and images in those threads appear to be dormant.

I'm trying to locate the War Diary for 91 Field Company Royal Engineers, D-Day to 1 January 1945. Previous threads suggest that it exists and I'm usually pretty good at searching Discovery but I can't even find the TNA reference!

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

My specific interest lies in any mention of 1949293, Driver FELMINGHAM A.J, who died/was killed on 1/1/1945.

I think these might be the ones you want. For some reason the catalogue titles for RE Field Company diaries aren't very descriptive which makes them much harder to find - these are just listed as "91 Coy":

    91 Coy.
War Office: Allied Expeditionary Force, North West Europe (British Element): War Diaries, Second World War. ROYAL ENGINEERS. Companies. 91 Coy.
Held by: The National Archives, Kew - War Office, Armed Forces, Judge Advocate General, and related bodies
    Date: 1944
    Reference: WO 171/1539
