7th Bn Seaforth Highlanders 26 Sept 1944, War diaries

I am researching the death of eight soldiers 26th Sept 1944 in the town of Best (The Netherlands). From one of the soldiers family I received a knowledge that these eight soldiers clearing a house or houses in Best with the command of 2 Lt Bill Lovatt. Sadly only one soldier returned from this clearance. If this is true, maybe something about this attack is recorded in the 7th Bn Seaford Highlanders War diaries or other records???
