OK then - according to the CWGC "Celle War Cemetery (Germany) was the hospital cemetery of the 64th British Military Hospital and those buried here were mainly servicemen who died of wounds sustained during the last month or so of the war. The cemetery contains 206 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War and three Polish war graves."

But according to Home - Scarlet Finders

    64 British General Hospital

Alexandria 1/9/39 to 7/44 and then on to Quassassin; Quassassin 7/44 to 8/44 then to Andria; Andria 8/44 to 6/45 then to Genoa; Genoa 6/45 to 8/45 then to Milan; Milan 8/45 to 10/6/46 then disbanded.

So I'm guessing that the CWGC description has the wrong BMH number (or were personnel who died in Milan interred in Germany?)
