Hello both, Thanks for the replies, TD - yes that's the chap. I was going to download the file from TNA but I have an iPad and cannot view any of the files downloaded from there. Dbf, I did find that page but thought here must have been a full citation somewhere but I guess not. I have seen it before with an initial mention in the gazette with a citation being printed later. In fact, I see there are 3 files in the Army Recommendations section at TNA. 1) Military Cross 2) OBE 3) Silver Star Don
