By virtue of the provisions of the Royal Warrant dated 15th June 1959 (published in Army Order 40 of 1959), all officers of the Land Forces belong- ing to The Royal Norfolk Regiment and The Suffolk Regiment will be transferred to the 1st East Anglian 'Regiment (Royal Norfolk and Suffolk) with effect from 29th Aug. 1959.
