    On the Leintwardine Memorial there is a WW2 casualty of John Lewes
    I have checked CWGC and the only John Lewes that came up was

    who died age 28
    on 30 December 1941
    Son of Arthur Harold and Elsie Steel Lewes, of Hanworth, Middlesex. M.A. (Oxon.): Christchurch College. President O.U.B.C., 1937.
