Just listened to Saturday Live, BBC Radio Four and at 0948hrs a Mary Monro had a slot till 0959hrs; she talked about father's escape from Hong Kong, which the family knew nothing about, except he had fought in the battle for Hong Kong, and her own journey in rural China in 2013, which led to a book 'Stranger In My Heart', published in 2018. Her father went onto to fight in India-Burma with 3 Battery, 28 Field Regimemnt RA, 22 Sept – 22 Dec 1944 (briefly covered in the book).
