Can anyone please suggest a source of information on 6 OTU at RAF Silloth towards the end of the war. I am particularly interested in the crew of F/O Jaroslaw Radon, which transferred out of RAF Silloth to 304 Squadron on or about 14th February 1945.

At least one of this crew survived the sinking of the Empress of Canada almost exactly 2 years earlier but that seems a very long training period for a Wireless Operator/Air Gunner. Is it likely that this is the case?
